Here is my sweet family. Yes, eating ice cream. We love food, and dinner is a really important part of our day together. One of the hardest parts of The Daniel Fast is simply coming up with new things to eat. I’ve had so many people tell me they truly want to do the fast, but they can’t eat beans for dinner every night. And I cringe when I hear about lunch being a jar of peanut butter and a spoon.
I pray these recipes will keep you on track with the fast. I pray they will keep you eating right without getting frustrated trying to figure out what’s allowed and what’s not. I pray they will help you focus on the Lord when what you really want for dinner is a juicy hamburger.
On a side note, I’m also praying that you will discover new foods to enjoy and get healthier in the process!
