Trail mix is a great snack option. You can make it in advance, easily take it anywhere, and put exactly what you want in it. I love the mix of the salty nuts with the sweet dried fruit. Use this time of fasting to try some new nuts, seeds, and fruits!
You’ll need to avoid most pre-packaged trail mixes, as they have added sugar. Lots of dried fruits have added sugar, as well, so just read the label first. I also buy the low salt option of nuts.
